Meet Ian – Frontend Engineer for High-Impact Interfaces

Ian doesn’t just build interfaces — he builds experiences. With deep expertise in React and Next.js, he turns complex designs into lightweight, high-performance web apps that feel fast, smooth, and responsive across all devices.

He’s been behind the frontends of some of our most design-sensitive projects: Frigate Surfboards, KClub Group, Mirage Flash, and Matahari Hills. Each required a mix of strong visual design, CMS integration, mobile responsiveness, and precise animation control — all without sacrificing performance.

On KClub, Ian implemented scroll-based animations and interactive layouts using GSAP and Swiper, ensuring they worked flawlessly across browsers and breakpoints. At Matahari Hills, he worked with Storyblok and lit-element to deliver flexible content blocks with rich imagery, maps, WhatsApp integration, and client-controlled updates.

He cares about the small things: typography, loading time, layout shifts, accessibility, SEO, animation timing. Every pixel is intentional. Every transition has a reason. His frontend code is clean, maintainable, and deploy-ready — built with Vercel and performance-optimized from the first line.

His stack includes React, Next.js (v14–15), GSAP, Swiper, Storyblok, Webpack, lit-element, TypeScript, and Vercel. But his real value is in making products feel finished — not just functional.
